Our Executive Director, Luzed Cruz, was featured in a recent Tampa Bay Times opinion piece calling attention to the urgent need for continued federal support for services that protect abused and victimized children. The article highlights the critical role Children’s Advocacy Centers play in helping children heal, supporting families, and ensuring access to justice across Florida.
Senate Committee on Children, Families and Elder Families
Our Executive Director, Luzed Cruz, had the opportunity to participate in the Senate Committee on Children, Families & Elder Affairs. During the Committee meeting, she highlighted the essential role Children’s Advocacy Centers play in providing coordinated, child-centered responses to abuse.
